It is a PC build that they demoed though.

Nobody (usually) uses PC builds for e3, hence why I think it is targeted for the next consoles.

Loved the first two. And yeah, there's an obscene amount of bullet time effects. But that's not really a good thing. Everyone's been doing them for a solid decade now.

There's no noir. Well, in the sense that it's still a "hard-boiled" story perhaps, but if you're looking for film noir don't bother. The atmosphere from the earlier games is completely gone. Payne 3 takes place in Brazil. It looks, feels and acts like a run of the mill third person action game. The story is boring and Max looks like an alcoholic James Gandolfini. Genuinely can't stand it.

That's how all 'big' games are now. Think I'm done with console gaming until I get a wiiU now.

Pretty much. I wouldn't touch most of the commercial industry with a pointy stick. Looking at the E3 updates right now and not a single game looks interesting so far. Watch Dogs might turn out well but I got a bad vibe from the announcement trailer. It looked like they were trying to rip off DMZ aesthetically but when they started to blame "private companies who have everything to gain from a cTOS" I lost interest. Seems like they're trying to create a complex story based on a badly written premise.

New Kamiya, which you may have missed because, you know, Nintendo didn't put it in their conference. 😐

The ZombiU game looks interesting and Rayman legends looked highly polished, particularly the 'asymmetric' multiplayer.

PS3 wise, the usual blockbusters did what they do but overall it was a lacklustre e3 all around.

A bit late but I decided to get skyrim and can totally see what you guys were talking about earlier, best game I've played in ages even though I'm not usually into these fantasy style ones.
