-- without wanting to put words into anyone's mouth it might be the "don't support regimes that are trying to wash their image a bit cleaner by buying popular things". I'm sure there are lots of bad things everywhere in the world but you can't argue this is a definite strategy.
It's a hard one to try and live by principles all the time. I don't really like the Chinese regime but can't avoid buying their products either. And at a much smaller scale I really like the Strike and Ellacott novels by Robert Galbraith, better known as JK Rowling, but she is such an obnoxious person now I don't really want to buy her books anymore.
I guess you have to pick and choose sometimes. I won't be going to the USA while Trump is in power there, and I won't ever visit Saudi Arabia. But in that case I have much more choice of where to spend my holiday dollars.
Everyone will make their own decisions in each circumstance I guess.
But as for computer games, I'm excited about the new Battlefield 6 coming out in a few weeks!
