Qwiss it was publicly traded. But yeah, the Saudis are acquiring it for far more than it's traded for.

Yeah I never moved over after the death of Pro Evo. Just like with Arsenal during that period, my loyalty prevented me from switching sides.

-- without wanting to put words into anyone's mouth it might be the "don't support regimes that are trying to wash their image a bit cleaner by buying popular things". I'm sure there are lots of bad things everywhere in the world but you can't argue this is a definite strategy.

It's a hard one to try and live by principles all the time. I don't really like the Chinese regime but can't avoid buying their products either. And at a much smaller scale I really like the Strike and Ellacott novels by Robert Galbraith, better known as JK Rowling, but she is such an obnoxious person now I don't really want to buy her books anymore.

I guess you have to pick and choose sometimes. I won't be going to the USA while Trump is in power there, and I won't ever visit Saudi Arabia. But in that case I have much more choice of where to spend my holiday dollars.

Everyone will make their own decisions in each circumstance I guess.

But as for computer games, I'm excited about the new Battlefield 6 coming out in a few weeks!

I haven't played any of these things since the heyday of Doom, so it doesn't affect me, but i think this is a Kushner special.

Fifa has been so shit in recent years, if the Saudis can actually get them to make a decent game rather than obsessing over micro transactions I'll fully support this but I won't hold my breath!

JazzG I gave it up because they seemed to focus so much on FUT that the rest of it was a bit shite.

Qwiss Never got into that FUT nonsense. I think the decline of Pro Evo has allowed them to focus more on that shit than actually make a better game.

They should release a game every two years, clearly within a year isn't enough development time for a major upgrade so rather they took longer, though that would be less profitable for them hence why we get minor tweaks and the same ol shit put out every year.

On the bright side for you guys, might be just in time to get FIFA back on board with the branding rights after EA refused their demands a couple years back. Who knows you might get a Fifa 27 instead of that FC27 bullshit.

Remember having this for my PC, I had just build a new PC and had bought this fancy controller, I can't even remember what the controller is is called now.

Seem to remember you could download all the kits and change the player and team names.

[edit] Rumble pad 2 is the controller I bought, shaped like a PS controller and was really good.

JazzG PES 4 and PES 6 peak football game in peak football game era for me.

Never knew it was on PC, though my old pc was pretty basic. Only ever had it on my PS2. There were PES forums you could download all the kits, stadiums, player names etc onto a memory card and update the game through the option file. You could put your own game menu music if you liked as well.
