We were much more brazen about not paying full whack for things when I was younger though, like when we had this bad boy to play NES games instead of an actual NES:
Sony don't give a fuck - PS4 is profitable for them from day one and they rake in the cash from PS plus. The developer, on the other hand, relies on a combination of units sold, ppu and a few other factors to survive.
I'm not even saying that anyone had to buy every piece of shit served up to them, but if you are plugging in to their creation and enjoying it, you should absolutely pay the cost of entry, whether that's 10p or £50.
