I have to say that pillars of eternity is awesome. It's a proper old school CRPG and you can really see all of the infinity engine influences.
It's the first game I've played that has successfully managed to capture the exploration of BG1 and the scale and storytelling of BG2. The lore and depth in the game world is excellent too, very well fleshed out, surprisingly so for a new IP. Combat is great as well, they've managed to create some really interesting mechanics.
10/10 so far, well done Obsidian.
