Been playing the Battlefield 1 beta. The map is in the Sinai Desert. First impressions are that the graphics are fantastic. There is a good range of weapons available, although I'm still figuring out how to beat tanks. I've only played for 2-3 hours. The levelling up system and graphics are a lot better than Battlefield Hardline, which I didn't like at all. Looking forward to the game coming out in October.

Me too Asterix. Never liked the Battlefield games much but the new one is fecking incredible. It's been a long time since I have had such a jaw-dropping experience playing a game. It looks and sounds incredible but more importantly it's so much fun to play.

Anyone tried the FIFA demo? My son says they have made a lot of improvements, but I still don't feel like playing FIFA one bit. Worrying.

You can learn from this, kids! Teenagers, when communicating with their parents, are often prone to use as few words as they think are possible. This quite often leads to miscommunication. 🙂

The story mode worries me. They've probably focused way too much on that and didn't fix all the obvious problems with the game.

Yeah, he is 15. He doesn't have any problems making claims about anything. Really though, I think he was talking about game modes mostly, and the story mode in particular, as intriguing.

Personally, I don't care about any of that stuff. Before, I solely used to play Season mode. Then, Dula got me onto FUT, and that is the only mode which has interested me since. FUT didn't interest me in 16 though, and I still don't really feel like playing. The thing with FIFA, for me, is that you have to put in the hours to not suck. I don't feel like doing that. I fear me FIFA days may have come to an end, which is a bit sad for me. 🙂

Been hanging around in Novigrad doing missions last couple of sessions. Novigrad is such a reminder of how enormous this game is content wise.
