Witcher 3 is about to get got. 🙂
Any of you have any experience of Skylanders v Infinity? Been reading up a bit and leaning towards Skylander. Thought I'd listen to you game nerds first though. 🙂
It's for my little kid btw...
I don't know much about the differences, but Infinity has far more recognizable characters that your kid, depending on age, has heard about.
Halfway through Arkham Knight. Really enjoyable game, and the first one I've played that I really feel is next-gen. Probably the game with the best graphics. Witcher 3 is beautiful of course, but that's such an enormous game it would be impossible to make it as pretty as Arkham Knight.
Has anyone played pillars of eternity? It's meant to be quite, a bit like Baldur's gate 2. I think I'll pick it up at some point.

I'm still only around 18% through overall (according to the stat thing) but yeah its a great game. Its so well scripted too, I like that the story happens within the game play and not everything is cut scenes (though there are maybe a few too many of them too).

Let us know if it's any good, just seen the trailer and it looks decent. Playing through my 5000th replay of BGTutu right now and it's still fun, there'll never be anything like it.

Yeah, I'm around 30% through overall. I also enjoy doing pretty much all the side missions too, which is rare for me.

I think Klaus mentioned it being good earlier. I'm just waiting for a good discount.
I was thinking of getting that too, its reviewed very well.
Finished it two weeks ago. It's excellent, you'll enjoy it a lot. It has lots of story and dialogue coupled with really challenging tactical battles.
Thanks Gurgen 🙂
I got my younger COD and Crysis loving brother to start a game of BG2 tonight, he died in the first room of Irenicus' dungeon 😆 Hopefully he sticks with it though 🙂
Think that happened to me as well when I played it for the first time 😆 Shat my pants when that lightning thing popped out of nowhere, I was like 11 or 12 years old to be fair 🙂

That was exactly it, the lightning machine 😆
thinking about grabbing this. enjoyed the hell out of this franchise thus far.
people have been whinging about the compulsory batmobile segments - are they actually that annoying?
I find the Batmobile stuff very enjoyable and I usually hate forced vehicle bits in games. There is a nice bit of variety in the game play so it doesn't get overly repetitive. Plus if you aren't in the mood for a certain mission you can just go do another one.
I find it enjoyable too. A legit criticism of it is that vehicular warfare like that is quite possibly the least Batman-y thing imaginable. Personally, I don't care.
cheers guys. will probably pick it up later this week
Just preordered Metal Gear Solid V. Can't wait to get my hands on it.
Allegedly the new PGA Golf, branded as Rory McIlroy now that Tiger is shit, features a fantasy course based on the Paracel Storm map from Battlefield 4. Probably no snipers though.
