Ever since Dragon Age 2, Bioware have sold their souls, somewhat understandably.

I actually preferred DA2 combat, although the friendly fire was a mess.
The tactics in Origins was a mess too, was useful only for the minor stuff.

Anyway, Bioware still makes some pretty good games and don't deserve half the hate directed at them, especially since they're working under disastermaster EA.

It's just a question of which style you prefer. I always liked the less direct and more ability-driven one, so Origins (and Mass Effect 1 btw) was pretty much perfect. The individual tactics there worked fine as well, without them I'd have lost my party quite often during boss fights.

I don't blame Bioware at all for their last couple of games, it's just painful to play Mass Effect 2 and Dragon Age 2, after Mass Effect 1 and Origins....the difference is staggering at times, and I didn't like that back then.

Anyone played PES? The demo is fun. Looks like Fifa has competition again.

Amazes me every time it happens that you can be in or out of form in a fucking video game. Am absolutely horrible at Fifa right now; timing is well off defensively, and my passing game has gone to shit so I struggle to score as well. 🙁

User reviews for DA3 is completely polarised. Reading most of them I prefer the positive ones. Too many hipsters paying RPGs right now it seems.

Smash Bros WiiU is looking great. 93/100 at Metacritic, not a single mixed or negative review. Will definitely get it for my little brother this christmas. Win-win.

Got FIFA15 yesterday and I'm absolutely loving it so far. After the absolute turd of a game that was FIFA14, my expectations were rather low for 15, but it seems like they've fixed pretty much everything which made the previous game so bad.

The opposition getting penalties is too easy. If you gently pull a player back well outside the area, he often continues his run into the box, goes down, and it's a peno every time. Same thing when defending against a player inside the box; you certainly can't tackle, and a lot of bullshit contact leads to a penalty.
Pace is also easier to abuse with the added control of the ball when running at full pelt.

All in all, I think it is a better game than 14, but there is still plenty of room for improvement.

Oh there's definetely room for improvement, but the flaws with 15, while annoying, aren't game breaking.

Been playing Dragon Age Inquisition the last 4-5 days. There are some minor flaws here and there (for instance tactical cam and console like menus..), but this game is brilliant. It's ridiculously big. Probably 80-100 hours. Massive, beautiful scenery, interesting characters, good quests etc. maybe a 10/10 game imo.

Guys, if you are playing a PL team, then save up for Curtois. Played quite a few games against him where he has made unreal saves. Been saving up and now bought him. Just played a few games, and he is a BEAST. I am not kidding. Having him almost feels like cheating.

Oh, and I don't suck quite as hard anymore! Still extremely wasteful in front of goal, but I am an Arsenal man after all, but timing in defending and quickness of passing game is back. It's ridiculous that 'form' is present in an effin' video game though.

I've been playing Space Wolf on ipad since it came out about a month ago, very geeky, but if you're a fan of Warhammer 40K, definitely worth a look !

I fucking hate playing against chelsea on seasons, mostly because of that asshole Courtois.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2015 is an outstanding game. It must be the first really good football game Konami have released in 6 years or so, but it finally puts them back on track. It beats the crap out of the latest versions of Fifa.
