El shaarawy
Would be a stunning signing.
He's pretty much as good a player as we could possibly get. He'll be considered one of the three best attacking players in Premier League within 18 months if we buy him now. Ticks all the boxes too for us: terrific on the counter-attack, lethal dribbler, quick as fuck, loves to bring others into play, thrives on short passing. His finish might be a little off but he knows where the net is. 15 goals this season speak for themselves.
It's not going to happen though. There's literally no chance Milan will sell him. He's their entire future. We might as well ask Dortmund for Reus or Götze instead.

In addition, with Berlusconi now running for the election, he won't sell Milan's best player.
Our one chance to land him would be a swap deal I'd imagine, but we don't really have any players that would make it worthwhile for them. Wilshere maybe, but that's out of the question.
Caughtoffside is nothing but a hit generator. It also sources the link to the bastion of truth that is "Fanatix" .
Wenger needs to reach for the lifeline that is throwing money at his problems, buying El Sharawaay would be a great way to start
Even Gazidis is apologizing and admitting he's tired of delivering the same worn out message, maybe there is some actual worry that things are going to get steadily worse unless they make a big impact signing?
Hmmm. Think I've got to stop this before I convince myself this might happen.

T.Walcott.
The only reason Milan will sell is because of their money problems, they have no reason to want to swap a player.
Swap plus cash would suit them.
Fits wenger's philosophy. Then why did we end up with giroud and chamakh?
Don't want turnip blowing the new managers transfer funds.
El Shaarawy is in football terms everything Wenger wants in a striker. He is also young and would have re-sale value. That along with Milan being strapped for cash while at the same time having a need to strenghten the team works for us. Their forward line is probably their strongest positions as well - not totally unreasonable that they could let El Shaarawy leave if a good offer arrived.

Maybe. I reckon he'd suit them. Galliani would probably be hounded out of Milano if he swapped the future of Italian football for a half-out-of-favour English wide man though. It's more likely they would offer us Pato in return. He's been shit for a while but I'd take that deal.

Depends on how big an offer. One thing to keep in mind is that they paid around £25 million to secure him a year ago. We're talking City money if they're going to let him go. Even if they are thinking about cashing in the smart thing would be to keep him for a year. In 18 months he's going to be worth twice as much.
25 mill would land him
Milan won't let him go. Not sure if he'd want to come here either.
Pato is a Wenger signing.
Oh, god. Pato used to be a Latin Walcott. However, Theo's since moved on to be useful.
He's doing some sort of Italian Luco shot there
