I wonder if average players recognise and admire those qualities in other average footballers. Bit like how good players always cheer on other good players. In one end of the scale you've got Zidane calling Henry the best footballer he's played with. In the other end you have Robbie Savage bigging up Ade Akinbiyi: "He's bang average in every way. It was a pleasure to be in the same team."

Wouldn't Swap Arteta for any of those fancy pants midgets. Not at all convinced by our own fancy pants midget. Michu is good but I'm not sure he'd cut it at a bigger club.

He's obviously going to win a few votes after a hat-trick.

Let's see how he goes in January when we've got a few tough encounters. We need players who can make a difference when the chips are down.

Silva wouldn't score that hat-trick. He's probably more talented than Cazorla but we're much better off with Santi in the team. Silva annoys me in the same way Nasri did in that he always seems way too willing to let others decide the game, shies away from trying to be the main man.

Silva has scored 11 league goals in 2 1/2 years at City. Very much doubt he'd have bagged a hat trick last night.

Cazorla is blatantly the most talented of the lot. Guy is a wonder in tight spaces and is equally comfortable on his left as he is his right

Santi is brilliant and hands down the most talented of the three. He needs to add more end product to his game though. Looks like this might be the year when it finally happens. Someone in his position, of his calibre, should contribute with 25-30 goals+assists in a good season. He's got 12 (7+5) so far with a little less than half the season gone.

Mata has been the best this season, although he has the luxury of getting plenty of rest on the bench. Hard to pick between Michu, Caz and Arteta. All class in their own ways.

Silva has been poo for quite a while now.

The thing with Michu is that he is not only a goalscorer, as a midfielder his passing and vision is top class as well. Arteta will never be recognised as a top spaniard by other fans who doesn't watch him play whole match.

Mata is by far the best though. His stats is insane, better than even Cesc and Ozil.

The rest of his game is very good but not particularly noteworthy imo. Not that it needs to be obviously.
