Can see it getting hostile pretty quickly if it starts like the same shit performance against Swansea
Szczesny, Sagna, Mertesacker, Vermaelen, Gibbs, Arteta, Wilshere, Cazorla, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Gervinho, Giroud.
Gervinho :gah:
Sagna starts, Chamberlain and Gervinho do as well. No other changes.
What the fuck sort of team is that? Jesus.
Excellent news that Sagna starts and that Yacob is out. He's key to their midfield.
No Yacob for WBA can only be a good news. That guy has been a revelation for them. Was linked with us back then.
I like this lineup, if Gervinho is on the right and Ox on the left
Other than the shitty winger situation, what are you complaining about? That's about as good a side as we can field.
If the midfield can't produce a solid attacking performance with a couple of chances created they can fuck rght off, no more this oh I'm tired anymore. Must win.

No goals in that team.

Do we really have anyone else that we can put in other than Podolski?

Well, we has been evident all season bar Theo...hasn't it?
Nope.
Cant believe Gervinho still plays for us, even he doesnt know what he's doing half the time!
Giroud feeds off quality crosses and neither our fullbacks or wingers consistently provide those, could be another struggle for us today.

Remember Wenger said: If you score too many goals, your opponents get embarrassed and then frustrated and they're more likely to kick out at you.
He did? 😆
Giroud needs to step up his game soon. There's a lot I like about him but his inability to score with his feet is ridiculous. He wasn't like this at Montpellier. Can't have a first-choice striker who screws up as soon as he receives the ball along the ground, especially not since no one else in that team is going to score goals on a regular basis. Today would be a good day to sort it out.
So we have Rosicky and Podolski to come on... if the wingers don't hit it, Caz to right wing, and Poldi for Ox, with Rozza at AM. I can actually live with that as far as the flanks are concerned, but the question for me is how will we do in midfield. If we more or less dominate things there, we'll be able to improvise/improve whatever is needed on the wings. Good to see Bac in there.
Just watch how we play without Podolski.

Other than the 2 chances early in the season where he fluffed it complete, I don't remember any other decent chances he could have scored with his feet. He have a good shot definitely as proven by last season's goals. Not to be worried about
