Bayern is the place to be in Germany. It's such a well respected institution.

I'm thinking in the long run they don't really believe they'll win more than Bayern will in the next few years.

Kagawa leaves, then Gotze, then Lewandowski etc. There are bigger more exciting places than Dortmund for them.

True, I think Klopp said the Guardiola factor helped make Gotze's mind up as well.

Speaking of, I've not really seen Gotze play well in the CL. He's not been poor, just always been outshone by his teammates.

Don't Bayern make as much as revenue as the next 2 or 3 teams in the league table combined? Moving from Dortmund to Bayern is a massive step up financially. Moving to Bayern and signing a 5 year contract could be worth as much as 20 million Euros more before tax for a player than staying at Dortmund.

Dortmund should have tons of money to spend in the summer with the sale of these two and the CL money. Will be interesting to see how Klopp spends it, he obviously can't attract the top band of players so he needs to be smart.
