Total battering. The wherewithal to grab an away goal would have made a difference but the attack that they had at their disposal just weren't sharp enough to convert scraps.

Very pleased to see Schalke dismissed.

They seemed rather cocky, and in fact disrespectful after beating us.

I think Juve are real dark horses for this tournament. They have a really good setup, and come without the pressure that will follow Barca, Real, and Bayern.

As for Dortmund, they'll get their pants pulled down by one of the big guns I think. Lack of experience will hurt them eventually.

Am i the only one who thinks that though Niang missed, he didn't bottle it.
He didn't scuff his shot, hit a lame effort straight at the keeper or miss the ball completely.

I wouldn't say he bottled it but there was something in his approach that made me anticipate that he would not bury it, which he should have done.
He was scared I think.
