Not a great performance from Real Madrid.
Lopez was excellent but can't pick out too many other 'top' performers. Varane again, perhaps? Modric in spurts? United made it hard for them by not pushing up their central defenders. This limited Madrid's potency on the counter. Tactically well played by Ferguson, but you do have to wonder about the omissions of Rooney and Kagawa.
