Ideally it could work with drogba still having a physical presence and rotating but it's most likely a non story.

Drogba finished with a fairy tale ending and don't think he'd like to risk his reputation in the league or his relationship with chelsea fans.

I suspect the calibre of clubs that would be after him would not be at the level of Arsenal. If we want him, we might have a chance on a football level but the fact that he wanted to go to Shanghai is a pretty good indicator as to where his priorities lie at the moment. And we won't offer him enough money.
