On Arsenal-Mania you said Ronaldhino won it for them and that Henk Ten Cate was the brains behind Barca's success from 2004-07.
Sessegnon has just scored a screamer from outside the box.
Mignolet is top top class.
And I really like the look of some of the Swansea boys. Ki, Michu, Hernandez will all be great fit for us. De Guzman is a top signing as well. Well done Laudrup
Di Matteo says he expects to be sacked.
Nope - just distortion. The only actual quote is:
Speaking after the defeat against Juventus, Di Matteo admitted that, as manager of Chelsea, his position at Stamford Bridge will always be a topic of debate. He said: "In a big club like this - if you have a few bad results - you are going to be under pressure but you have to live with it. "And it's been like that from day one and it's up to me to pick the players up now."

I think he will be sacked, eventually. Roman never really wanted him and he's not shown much capacity for turning the club around when things are going badly for them. If they lose to City and get knocked out of their group, he's practically done for.
I would say that winning the CL would qualify as "turning the club around", but I agree with your general point, and in fact winning the CL just granted him a stay of execution if you will. Roman wants a big name a la Guardiola.
He's bound to be sacked. Abramovich has sacked the shit out of far better managers who were also doing better with the side.
Hopefully their season continues to falter, like last year.

Actually their league form under Di Matteo last season was worse than it was under AvB. Their CL run was a bizarre clusterfuck.
Confirmed: Di Matteo sacked.
Apparently he's gone. Now. With Benitez being lined up as the caretaker until Guardiola can be brought in.
Boggle.
Rafa Benitez? Really? At least we'll get some nice quotes in the press. And Torres is bound to be happy.
And there will be gnashing and wailing from some quarters of the Pool fan base.

redknapp time!!
Bad news.
Hopefully they won't get anyone adequate and appoint John Terry as player-manager or something.
Crikey. Abramovich doesn't waste any time. Damn it though, the Di Matteo factor was definitely something that would have held them back as the season progressed.
Guardiola, should they get him, could be disastrous because he has some pretty fixed ideas.
In the long run all Abramovich's futzing around with managers only costs them.
It really would be a bit of a nightmare if they get Guardiola Hope they get Harry.
Hope they get Redknapp. 😆
