In fairness Man U had 3 penalty appeals. Two looked legit to me, but somehow I was still able to contain my indignation. 🙂

I just read that Chris Foy, who was in charge when United lost to Spurs, will be refereeing a League two game this weekend.

You could even see last season whenever city where top of the league the media were dismissive and were saying they still expect united to win, i was thinking i would be pretty pissed if i were a city fan and a supposed unbiased football show was belittling the clubs achievements and clearly stating united were going to win it. There is obviously some sort of dodgy business with fungus and the referees and fa which gives them a 40% advantage to start off with.

When we beat City I expected United to win it. They always do well when it's squeaky bum time but this time they collapsed. Wigan, City and Everton were three big games they failed in.

What annoyed me is everyone laughing at us in 2007-08 when we were challenging.

I read somewhere that Mark Clattenberg who refereed United's 6-1 loss to City hasn't refereed a United game since then.

In my opinion Ferguson has special influence, none of which means, or needs to mean, he's some kind of eminence grise who pulls the strings.

Some observations from Chelsea-Norwich game.

Mata is on form. You can see why Wenger wanted him last season. Has the eye for a pass that Wenger likes.

Torres is so hit and miss these days. You don't know what you are gonna get from him. Plus he loses confidence very quickly. IMO he is trying too much. Still like him though but not a top player these days IMO.

Grant holt is decent. A bit like Di Natale..!?

Jon Obi Mikel is very underrated. Very allround player. Tick Tock Tick Tock. He is like clockwork!

No. Shouldn't be spoken of in the same breadth.

Also, Mikel is no better than he is given credit for. Norwich found so much space in the middle at times, as have a number of other teams this season against Chelsea.
