I'm posting this in Arsenal talk because I assume your favourite player plays for Arsenal, if he doesn't it doesn't matter.
I don't want exhaustive team lists or all time legends just your favourite currently playing player and why.

Because, in my opinion, Neymar is the most exciting player in football right now.

Yaya Toure is head and shoulders the best footballer in the premiership and I like the way Kagawa plays.

Love watching Chamberlain at the moment. So unpredictable and exciting. Cazorla has the potential to be up there as well. My kind of footballer.

Love watching Koscielny defend when he's facing a 1v1. He knows he's going to win practically every time. Almost feel a little sorry for the attackers at times! Don't enjoy watching him defend other situations quite as much though, but that's another story.

Non-Arsenal - Messi. Obviously.

Arsenal: Cazorla because I love that style of player -he's a catalyst - gifted, skilled, two footed, quick thinking, he's made me excited about what we're going to see from Arsenal this season.

Arteta and Kos - both read the game so well and execute their roles properly.

Outside of Arsenal: Aguero

Koscielny - have liked him and backed him since day one when certain people cough were proclaiming his shitness and giving Squillaci great reviews
Diaby - don't know why. No excuse for it anymore but I like the guy.
Sagna - fearless, seemingly loyal. Zero hassle top performer.

Premiership:

Papiss Cisse
Leighton Baines - two players I would've liked us to sign
Tim Cahill (well not anymore, but I did like his scrappy style and his winningness)

I really agree with you there. Love watching Yaya Toure play. Immense footballer.

For Arsenal my favorite players are Rosicky and Koscielny. For the last 6/7 years it was always Van Persie.

Have to say Biggus is the last person I would have expected to start this thread?

Anyway, if I had to choose it would have to be Arteta. But seriously, what's the point anymore? Your favourite player is always going to be (one of) the club's best and they always leave and then you start hating them and calling them a cunt. Gave up having favourite players years ago, much better off just loving the club as a whole.
