Very early on at Pool Hodgson played him as a proper midfielder like that in a game against us and his passing was really good, spraying it around from deep. I think Liverpool should definitely look to play him there for the rest of his career as he's losing that explosiveness in the AM spot. Could get another few good years out of him there. In fact early in his career when he played there he was much better too.
