Difference is the media expects us to fail at every opportunity whereas before every major tournament the media acts like England are one of the top teams when they are not and haven't been for as long as I've been alive.
Dules all I'm saying is that if England had realistic expectations they wouldn't be so upset when they get knocked out at the quarters which is roughly their level.
