so far arshavin been the best attacking player, with sneijder. he is a technically gifted player that lacks stamina so has to judge when he should run and when to conserve energy which makes him look lazy, but his pace is decent enough.
Iniesta was better than Arshavin.
Iniesta was streets ahead of Arshavin, and Sneijder was also quite a lot better.
Pirlo was better too yesterday.

I really enjoyed this game yesterday, and it whets the appetite for the knock outs. Quality teams with quality players, no fear of each other, going for the win.
Loved how tactical it was too. It's rare to see great defending nowadays, but both teams displayed a lot of it last night. And no one was better at it than De Rossi. What a towering performance that was. He's played in central defence for exactly two games this season. One of them was against Juventus a few months ago the other one was yesterday. On forehand it looked like the loss of Barzagli would screw them over but I'm cautiously optimistic now.
Marchisio has to be one of the most under rated players going, at least outside of italy. Klaus agrees.

Loved the way Italy just went for it against the Spanish. Made for an excellent game. Totally surprised by their approach but love them for having the guts to do it. Think they're going to be my team to get excited about during these Euros.
