Just wondering - why wouldn't Liverpool pay him more than Arsenal?

Is their pay structure on a par with ours?

Carroll is one of their highest earners though after the likes of Cole, Gerrard and Carragher.

Suarez only makes 80 grand a week

Downing and Adam are on even less than that.

They pay big fees but are on a similar pay structure to ourselves. Obviously Gerrard and Carra are above any thing as meager as a pay structure.

It amazes me how much Pool fans wank over a player and once he leaves or wants to leave then he is absolute dog shit to them. Carroll is getting that treatment from them now and I imagine suarez will be the same

Glen Johnson is on more than 100k a week. There have even been reports of him on as much as over 130k a week.

Gerrard only makes 120k a week.

No way on earth does Johnson make anything close to that, not even Liverpool are that stupid.

Vela hardly got chances here tbh. When you look at the amount of chances the likes of Denilson Almunia et al got here someone like Vela should have gotten the same too, if not more. He clearly has talent.

As otf said, terrible professional.

If there's one thing we learned from the Denilson fiasco it's that shit players should be given fewer chances in the first team, not more!

Figures as low as £3m, from what I've seen, and some sell-on clause.

Great buy for them, not so good a deal for us. Guess we were pretty desperate to get rid.
