Song would make for a good centreback in Barcelona's system. If they really have bid, I'd see if Song's prepared to sign a new contract this summer, and if the answer's no I'd sell him for as much as I could get out of them.

Wigan would be a great move for Ryo next season.

I'm not sure the potential trophies are enough for him to trade his starting spot at Arsenal for a bit-part role at Barcelona.

May be this is what was holding up our M'Vila interest. It could be we buy M'Vila only if we sell Song. To sell Song and not replace him would be a very bad piece of business.

Well that's all good but when you ignore your primary job as a midfield player you become a liability. He's tactically indiscipline and naive with his position on the field. There's a reason why players always bypass Song and he has make rash challenge to recover and also his passing at times can be erratic.

Song is one of the first names on a Wenger team sheet. We look a hell of a lot worse when he is not playing.
Having said that, there is still plenty of room for improvement in Mr Song.

He was blatantly one of our most important players last season. Barca are in for him with £15m as a first bid. And yet, to half the posters on here, he's shit. Mind boggles really.

I strongly disagree about him been one of our most important player in the team he was erratic going forward don't let the 11 assist in the premiership blind you for every assist he created there where four wayward pass by him. On the defensive end he was nothing short of a liability in more than half our games. Arteta was the one that was covering his inadequate role for us last season

I'll wait until it's confirmed by either club before assuming Barcelona have made a bid for Song. I think that's the wise thing to do.

Point is that Song will make the starting 11 for most clubs in this league and we can't afford to lose him.
