I admit you have a point with his sporadic great games, and long frustrating stretches. But I think he did, consistently, and still does, improve. He can even control a ball now, and pretend to be dribbling! (Ricky actually bought it 🙂 ). Seriously, Theo has come a long way, and is more consistent, he's a top finisher, and he's without a doubt our top choice on the right. He could, perhaps, continue to develop towards the CF role (I'm not yet convinced with that, but maybe I'm too fixated on Henry/Robin like control of the ball).
At any rate, watching him last night did matter, I feel - at least it convinced me. It could (crazy thought warning) perhaps have done enough to place a first, tiny doubt in your mind. Or not.
