He's a cliche machine but who cares. I think he's still getting unfair criticism (on the pitch) btw, had an excellent season for us. He might not be beautiful to watch but he's incredibly effectife. Can't be many wide players in Europe with similar end product.
Gotta give him that, he really does generate numbers but he's still not taken seriously by people.
It's because he's really shit.
But at one point the numbers have to start outweighing the shittiness.
Or maybe your interpretation of 'shit' needs a little recalibration?
He blew a bit cold towards the end of last season to call it a smashing success as a whole. Remains a very useful but limited player who I'm currently glad we re-signed.
Thought he picked up at the end as well. Had a couple of months that started a few weeks after his extension where he was quite poor though.
In a team with Giroud leading the line I'd rather have Theo than Nani/Valencia/Oscar/Hazard. Bar Bale and Mata I'm not sure there's a better wide player in the league if your CF isn't world class.
One of my favourite goals of the season. Regardless of the part played by the insipid Newcastle defence 🙂
Such a cheap goal. Why can't he do anything with a hint of class? Even his best goals must have something annoying about them. That 'please don't tackle me, I'm a stumbling toddler' routine is ridiculous.
Crank 😆
i enjoyed this one more
Those goals sum up Walcott perfectly. Bumbling shittiness, but somehow effective.
Means more against Chelsea for sure. Unlike Patter's I commend him for springing back up and going for it following a stumble

Like Boris Johnson with the ladies.
Don't mind Theo. I abuse because I love. And because he's sort of shit. If he wasn't such a smug little greedy .... it wouldn't be any fun.
Ah, in actual fact you love him then
He's not shit at all. Just because he's not as eloquent as a Pires or a Cazorla doesn't mean he's not an excellent player.
He's not an excellent player.
He has pace, a first touch and can finish. In most other fundamentals he is lacking or very hit and miss.
If he had the technical/dribbling skills of even Gervinho he'd be a £40-60 million player.

Gervinho would've cost the same if he had the pace and finishing ability of Theo.
