Every player on that list is highly effective and would walk into our first team squad (or is already in it).
Hardly absolutely nothing ... it's clearly a decent measure of some of the best forwards in the league, with notable exceptions, omissions, anomalies, adjustments for unusually bad form.
You could just go straight for minutes per goal (rather than "goal involvement", such a clunky phrase) and suddenly Rooney, Walcott, Mata and Podolski would plummet down the chart and the likes of Michu would surge up it. Wouldn't tell you more, just something different.
