Not needed
Walcott, Gervinho, Chamakh, and Park are the only attacking players with PL experience we currently have. 2 out of those 4 I'd rather never see play again, and the other 2 are inconsistent at best. I'd say he's very much needed.
Back up striker, back up wide forward. Seems like a good idea to me.

No real link to us on this one, but one of the highest scorers in the league the last few seasons, and decently versatile. Seeing as how we've got no one who has scored consistently in the league now, he would make a lot of sense from the perspective of covering us while the new signings acclimatize imo.

Been thinking of Dempsey for a few days now, think he'd make a lot of sense. I think he'd be a perfect signing if he could be got for around £10M. Another great bargain. Chamakh would never play as a result, and he could also cover wide left.
I think we might have gone for someone like Dempsey if we had been able to flog Chamakh and Arshavin.
You mean he hasn't left Fulham yet?
Wtf have Liverpool been doing.
Arshavin will be our Dempsey Timbo. Looks like it
I'm pleased arshavin is staying.
Can see fulham looking at arshavin to replace Dempsey thinking about it. There was talk that they were interested a few weeks back
Dempsey refusing to play for Fulham today. Demanding a move to liverpool.
Good. An average player to an average team. We can do so much better
Too much player power in football these days. 🙁
Straight swap for Bendy? We can even throw in Park as goodwill.
Fulham are in a difficult position and the nearer to the close of the window the more desperate they will be to sell. Could see Wenger lowballing them on the final day of the window and getting his man. If we don't do it I'm certain someone like Spurs or 'Pool will grab him. Whoever gets him will be getting a very experienced and versatile player who knows where the back of the net is for a relative pittance.
