The way Newcastle went about getting Cisse should be an example for us. The threat of losing Ba was on the cards with alot of bigger clubs sniffing around so they went out and signed Cisse good and early. Imagine how much more they'd have paid in the summer for him if they'd just received a fee for Ba and everyone knew they desperately needed a replacement.
Pity we didn't sign him. Someone like Cisse would be perfect as back up RVP or to play ahead of him if Robin was dropped back to a number 10 role.

On tv, they just reviewed Cisse's goals for Newcastle. At least 3 were absolutely stupendous finishes. Superb player, the 2 goals today showed great first touch and fantastic finishes. Oh and both were Cabaye's brilliant pass.
One of the signing of the season definitely Cisse.
