I bet you that if any of you were hired by Sky, there would be numerous people on here complaining about you.
Football analysis is hard. There are lots of players, few scoring opportunities and few meaningful stats that you can lean on. It often just ends up being a game of adjectives. The guys who I tend to enjoy listening to are not necessarily those who have a firm grasp of the science of football games, but those who have in-depth knowledge in areas that I am not that educated about - e.g. Tim Vickery, Andy Brassel and Sid Lowe.
But yeah, most of you guys would struggle to stay on top of the relevant knowledge and informed opinions of 20 Premier League teams even if it was your jobs. If it was so easy, we'd be able to point to a lot of guys who are doing it well.
