I can't imagine cash would be an issue. I also don't see how they can be sincere about falling in line with FFP. The only real stumbling block may be City not being Van Persie's first choice destination. Luckily for once we have bought before selling, so as long as this isn't being a distraction for the team this can drag along till the end of the window. The question then if RVP still refuses to sign a new contract would be whether to sell for whatever is being offered or lose on the potential few millions we can make off him.

On VP, seems like there's a major shift in expectations. I thought most everyone is convinced he's gone by now.
