I said so too, Wenger is an obstinate fool who just won't let go, Kami nailed it when he called him a cancer, thats exactly how he behaves.

You don't think we needed to replace Cesc/ his creativity?
Had i used the word 'replace' for an attacking midfielder from Germany, it would have been alright?
Biggus doesn't believe in creativity.

I spell it correctly, but I do pronounce it like that, yes.
Can't wait for David Pleat to have a go

Yep, that's it.
Shall we call him Thor?
Doesn't have that kind of manner about him...
Thor it is!
Today I'm guessing that Wenger's plan is to hold onto Van Persie until the end of August. Starting him against Sunderland and Stoke to give Podolski and Giroud a couple of games to settle in. If the alternative in any way involved Chamakh's presence in either of those games I'd be cool enough with Van Persie playing instead.
Get him injured before he moves.
I think he's disappointed real or barca didn't come in for him. Any other move is just grief or underwhelming for him

That is indeed how it is supposed to be pronounced. I could live with 'Thor'! 🙂
Five foot nothing, ten stone Thor. 😆
Couple of newspapers seem to think Van Persie staying is growing more and more likely. If it's true that either interest in him has gone cold, or he's changed his mind based on our signings, is there anyone who's averse to us offering him a new deal and him staying?
It's all conjecture anyway. Man City will hand over £30 million for him as soon as they've offloaded Dzeko and Adebayor and that's that.
I agree, that's probably what will happen. Stranger things have happened though.
I think the 'interest has cooled' story is just the one they run when there's nothing new going on.
I doubt anyone would be unhappy to see such a top player sign a new contract here. Nothing can change the fact he's acted like a swollen douchebag all summer though.
I think the odds are still stacked against him staying. Tempted to think the stories about him staying are a plant from arsenal's side of things.
The idea that other clubs are not interested at £20m or so seems silly. Think Klaus has it right—we're asking for more and they're biding their time.

Won't be easy for Man City to get rid of Adebayor and Dzeko though with the wages they are on. As Adebayor is demonstrating - why would he go to earn roughly half of what he is currently earning? Not too many clubs that can afford those wages, are there?
