I haven't read that one yet. Read a few his, and I agree, his prose is wonderful. I love The Old Man and the Sea.
I'm listening to Smiley's People now. I think I may have mentioned it a few times, but le Carre is fantastic. George Smiley is a masterful creation. I'd love someone with heaps of money to make a TV series of all the Smiley novels. You'd need a tubby 60 year old person to play George. I know Gary Oldman did a good job in the movie of Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, and Alec Guinness has probably the definitive portrayal, so they'd be big shoes to fill. I've just realised why the actor who reads the audiobooks does an Alec Guinness impersonation when reading Smiley's lines. lightbulb moment
