Capello resigns
He will I reckon. Redknapp is just a media whore, so he says what makes him sound good at the time. He'll go to England and then say it was the only job he'd leave Spurs for etc.
Only a fool would take the job long term tbh, so Redknapp is well qualified in that respect.

Jeez, Reconsidering now though, Mourihno 2-1 to be next Spurs manager.
Do you really think he can do it at Spurs without alot of money? I really don't think its possible to get them above 3rd.
We'll see if they get champs league and that's far from guaranteed in my opinion.
He'll do the Harry hero England's saviour routine.
Possibly he could remain on as Spurs manager until the end of the season, double jobbing - he could probably manage that.
I get the feeling he doesn't actually do a whole lot anyway.

Hopefully Harry will join England it'll really upset the camp there. They're not a hugely talented squad so I don't think it'd take much for them to implode.

I'd rather not have that theory tested just in case.
Mourihno as Spurs manager would be bad news for us, certainly in the short term.
I hope they haven't recorded the Tuesday club yet.

I actually think he'd drag the best out of them.

That's what I was thinking.
Good time to take over as England manager one would think. Plenty of emerging talent and a ready made excuse for tournament failure.
Who's even available to step in right away?
Benitez :glee:

Who we talking here? England or Spurs?

England. Unfortunately he's already done that at Spurs.

Said the same to my mate. Long term most who take the job come away with battered reputations, but just for the Euro's it'd be a quality job to take. FA give you a couple of million or so, and you have a shot at becoming a national hero forever. Fail and people will just say it was difficult circumstances.

Stuart Pearce.

Any English manager they offer the job to will jump at it.
Harry will walk.

Really sounds like the type of appointment Mourinho would fancy.

I was talking about Mourinho at Spurs.
As I said in the other thread I think Harry would do pretty well with England but win anything.
Mourihno's a Terry man.
I'm not sure that the FA will approach him.
