M'vila, Vertonghen and Podolski on paper are the additions to make us champions.
Would sacrifice one of Mvilla/Vertonghen for another decent attacking option
We've already signed Suarez and Holtby. 😉

Imagine how it'd feel going into the season with those new players on board and having kept everyone important. We'd all be so up for the season, even Biggus might see cause for optimism.
Biggus would wet his pants when he saw M'vila and Vertonghen.
Agree with Mr Fox would prefer a playmaker who can double on the wings ala Nasri/Gotze. Need a bit more variation out wide imo

First I hear of Holtby, is he playmaker type? will check out some videos
I'm taking the piss but yeah, Holtby is a playmaker who plays centrally or wide.
Alright, looks decent & an Everton fan apparently!
French giants plan £6million Chamakh swoop Arsenal misfit Marouane Chamakh is a £6million target for big-spending Paris Saint-Germain. The Morocco striker has been a huge disappointment since joining the Gunners on a free transfer from French side Bordeaux two years ago. But PSG and Italy's Fiorentina and both keen on the 28-year-old, as are former club Bordeaux.

I always feared we'd lose a player of stature this summer
Why the hell would PSG want him? They already have a 6'3 beanpole who can head the ball and do little else in Hoarau, plus Gameiro who has had a good first season. That may only be 2 CFs, but for a club with oil money and who want to become the new Lyon 2001-2008, I would expect them to set their sights a lot higher (not that I'm complaining, they are more than welcome to Marouane).
Chamakh was one of the best centre forwards in France a couple of years ago though. Must carry weight with some of the big French clubs.

So, the three mentioned plus Hoillet. Would Hoillet fill the role for those looking for a wide player?
Hoillet would provide solid competition, and wouldnt cost the earth as a package.
Wouldnt be my first choice, but he's a good prospect nonetheless.
Dreams of Hazard and Jovetic are just that.
Out of Vertonghen, M´vila, Podolski and Hoilett I´d pass on Hoilett and Vertonghen and spunk that cash on a better AM/WF.
I´d be well chuffed with just Podolski and another quality AM/WF if we keep all the players we want to. May probably need a back up goalkeeper as well.
Is Mark Schwarzer going to be a free agent this summer?
Signed a new deal with Fulham a couple of months ago.
