A great player would go away, stay an extra hour after training every day for the next 12 months, and at the ACoN next February step up and take the first penalty that the Ivory Coast get given.

Don't mind Zambia winning it, but so gutted for Gervinho 🙁

At least he wasn't the only that fucked up and he also won a penalty during the match which Drogba missed.

The issue is just that. Why wasn't he confident of scoring? He's a forward at Arsenal Football Club. Hell, even Drogba stepped up to take one after missing his penalty in the final 2 years ago and again tonight in normal time.

He didn't have any presence at all, looked far more nervous than most of the Zambian penalty takers.

At least idiots like Adebayor and Bendtner never let themselves get down by missing. Still it's not the end of the world.

Well, at least there's a valuable lesson for us (like we needed it) as we're in 2 cups yet. We know who's not going to shoot (seriously - he must be the last man in the team).

Because he misses more chances than he actually scores and has being doing so with increasing regularity in the games he played before ACN.
